UnLtd: We couldn’t have done it without you.

We have received so much support since the launch of CyberSyd a few weeks ago which is still unbelievable at times… and it’s now that we would like to publicly thank the people that helped us get here in the first place.

Starting any project is incredibly difficult for a number of reasons, such as funding, finding a support network and learning from experienced individuals in business. Like most organisations, we were not really sure where to start. Sure, we had an incredible idea which we strongly believed in but we didn’t know what to do with it.

That’s where UnLtd came in.

UnLtd finds, funds and supports social entrepreneurs - enterprising people with solutions that change our society for the better. They have a number of awards which assist social enterprises such as ourselves, whether it is starting or growing a venture. After a light-hearted and relaxed meeting with Nuala Smyth, a Social Entrepreneur Support Manager for UnLtd, we got the incredible news that CyberSyd was successful in receiving the ‘Start Your Venture’ award. Not only did this fund the development of our app and websites, it also gave us insightful information regarding running our social enterprise and access to expert advice on the legal and financial elements of our business.

This partnership with UnLtd was huge for us. Suddenly, our concept of making a social difference transformed into a real and viable business. To say that we were excited and grateful would be an understatement. Frequent check-ins with the UnLtd team demonstrated to us how much they value and support social enterprises with nothing asked for in return. They exist to make a difference. And we hope to put their belief and efforts towards CyberSyd to good use.

As we approach September, with several schools having signed-up and many more showing interest in our resolve to tackle bullying head-on, we look back at our time so far with UnLtd and have one clear message for them:

Thank you. You truly are unstoppable.
